Interview: Corinne Holt

We're happy to introduce Corinne Holt who is known worldwide for her extreme versatility and athleticism. She is literally a superhuman with experience spanning from professional dancer, stunt woman to coach, she gives us an insight into her journey from ballet school, overcoming injury and tips on how to be fearless and focused to go after those goals.

Describe yourself in 3 words?

Energetic, driven, helpful.

Give us a brief backstory into your journey becoming the awesome superhuman you are today?

I was introduced to ballet and musical theatre school at the age of 2/3. Continue to dance all through school in to higher education. Went to Rambert Ballet and Contemporary Dance School left with a BA Hons Degree at the age of 19. Travelled around the world to learn all street and commercial styles and danced in the London street dance community and battle scene. I went on to have a very versatile, rewarding dance career performing around the world. Then I started to train to become and stunt women and I'm slowly breaking into this next industry too alongside still coaching, teaching and performing.

What does a typical day in your life look like?

Train , client , train, computer work for my online business, maybe another client maybe more training or computer work.

What advice would you give to people who want to be fearless to follow in your footsteps?

Just do it now! Start working on it day by day. That should be your main focus what can you improve and learn today that will help you succeed in your future goals. The more you focus and push yourself, people will see this and your actions will show and the jobs, success, career will follow.

Have you encountered any major challenges on your journey and how have overcome them?

Major challenges for me have been when I broke my arm in 3 places in 2015 and then again in 2016 almost a year apart. A lot of self-learning and discovery of the world was made in these two years that has stuck with me and really pushed my confidence in who I am as a person. The strength, wisdom and most importantly patience was essentially acquired for my growth into my next career.

What would you say are one of your proudest moments in your life

and why?

Wow this one is too hard to say one! Every goal/ skill/ job I have achieved whether big or small I still feel beyond proud because I know I've worked my ass off to get there.

Finally to you - What is real? What is authentic? and What is winning?

Real - being true to yourself and others in the nicest way.

Authentic - being you and only you to the fullest.

Winning - everyday pushing forward towards your dreams with a smile.
